Foods That Cause Heartburn

For improved health certain foods that cause heartburn can be avoided,
but that is not to say they should be avoided completely. Some notable
foods that cause heartburn include rich desserts such as chocolate cakes
and mousse. Alcohol is also a contributing factor towards heartburn
along with beverages such as coffee and tea due to their caffine content.

Of course spicy foods may be categorized as a connection especially with
the popularity of Asian and Indian foods. Some people are not aware that
dairy foods such as ice cream and milk shakes may cause heartburn too.
Acidic foods encompassing fruits like oranges and tomatoes have been
noted as factors combining to result in heartburn.

Foods that Cause Heartburn Should Be Avoided

Try to consume foods that do not cause heartburn, with a little research
and knowledge many sufferers can live a life devoid of this condition.
Build up a knowledge base of foods to avoid, and also a database of foods which are alkaline in nature to offset the acidic imbalance of certain foods. Also try to get familiar with substitutes for coffee and tea, of which their are many alternatives. Keeping the fiber high in ones diet with grains and breads will also help reduce heartburn.
